Hello VJ family !
Our case was sent to CSC few days ago , my fiancee and i want to know about the time it takes to get the NOA2 , we know that CSC does not take too much time as TSC , we want to know when we need to start the financial documents , because we will use a co-sponsor as well and we want to have a general idea .

Thank you !

I have heard this about California center as well. But we have been there 4 months now with nothing. Of course, this is less than the 5 montgs they list for my type of I-130.

Ours was sent to CSC as well. We got our NOA1 on January 30, 2015 and NOA2 on February 20, so it took 3 weeks. We are in Turkey and did receive the paper for NOA1 about 2 weeks after the email notification. Haven't received the paper NOA2 yet or any correspondence from NVC re choosing an agent, paying fees, and sending in the i-864 paperwork, but I'm planning on getting in touch with them this week.

As anyone in this forum will likely tell you, the amount of time it takes to get NOA2 varies. We were pretty careful with our paperwork and we are applying for an IR-1 visa, so our case seems to be pretty straightforward. In any case, we had started to prepare all of the things we need for i-864 around the same time as we sent in our i-130. You might as well since you'll get to that stage at some point!

Best of luck for a speedy approval!

Different type of petition, completely different timeframe.

For us, it took no time at all for NOA2 at CSC (2 weeks...). Assuming they don't have a reason to request more evidence from you, you should get it shortly. The time it takes for your application to get to NVC and then to your consulate varies. Nothing wrong with starting to gather supporting evidence for the i-134 right now.

It all depends on the case. And yes, different cases different timelines.

Also it would also be different if you get RFE. but for me its good to have RFE esp if you get it soon after NOA1.

I got my NOA2 in 42 BUSINESS days (58 days to be exact) from NOA1 (Jan. 5th) with RFE (3 days after they recieved my RFE, NOA2 came) .

Goodluck on you journey.

Your petition was sent there because the filer was in a state services by CSC. It's not like there's a toss-up as to where it will go. The decision is geographic, not luck of the draw.
