Wrong DS-160 Confirmation number on USEM Appointment confirmation

About a year ago I tried to get my fiance to visit me in the US on a B2 tourist visa, she was denied at her interview. During that process we had filled out a DS-160 form. Now that we are filing for a K1 visa, I've scheduled her USEM interview appointment, however I did this before submitting a new DS-160 (I was merely following the guides here). For some reason, the K1 appointment confirmation page included her old tourist visa DS-160 conf number/barcode. Note that there was NO place in the interview scheduling site to specify a DS-160 number, so I'm assuming the site automatically found a profile with her name and included that in the confirmation page.

Will this be a problem at the embassy if her appointment confirmation page shows the wrong DS-160 number/barcode? It would definitely be a problem if they tried to scan the barcode and it pulled up the wrong profile. Is there any way to correct the error? I'm hoping it won't be a big deal, since we will have a print out of the DS-160 confirmation page also and can explain if needed.

Best way to call USEM and they will reset her information from the old Ds-160 for tourist. And the interview appointment confirmation doesn't have ds-160 barcode only UID barcode if you schedule for k1. However on tourist visa it has UID barcode and DS-160 barcode.

No it is not an issue. Bring the confirmation page from the new DS-160 to the interview all will be fine. Don't need to call or stress.

Not necessary to contact the embassy... all will be fine with the new confirmation page from the DS-160

Yup, better contact USEM Appointment numbers. They can confirm what other members suggested here...either way, better be safe than sorry.

Absolutely no reason to contact the embassy on this, very common occurrence with the DS-160, all one needs to do is bring the current confirmation page from your recently completed DS-160.

When you arrive for your interview the CO will access your DS-160 based on the paper you provide. They scan the bar code for the right form. Therefore you can change the form many times but only bring the final one to the interview.

Complete a new DS-160, then bring THAT confirmation page to your interview.
