Hi everyone,

I am new to this thread and wanted to share my timeline.

We filed the AOS package on March 20th, arrived to Chicago the 21st, was received the 24th and today we got the NOA text message.

I can't believe we got it so soon, very happy!!!

Did your case status on USCIS website mention anything about your Biometrics letter before you received it?

or did you receive any email or text regarding your Biometrics letter before you received the actual hard copy?

We have signed up for email and text alerts but we have not received any email or text about Biometrics nor do we see any update on case status on the website, So I was wondering if you got any email or text regarding your Biometrics before you received the actual hard copy of the letter.

Day 29 >> April 6, 2015 --- Successfully completed the scheduled biometrics appointment (took only 10 minutes, very good staff in Albany :thumbs: )

Day 79 >> May 26, 2015 --- Contacted USCIS to raise a service request for I-765

Day 80 >> May 27, 2015 --- Received an email notification and the case status for I-765 changed to indicate that employment card for I-765 was ordered

Day 85 >> June 01, 2015 --- EAD Card was mailed

Day 88 >> June 04, 2015 --- Received the EAD Card

Day 117 >> July 03, 2015 --- Received the email and the case status for I-485 changed to show interview is scheduled for July 30.

Day 144 >> July 30, 2015 --- Had our interview and got approved immediately. Case status was updated to show that the Green Card is being produced :)

Day 166 >> August 21, 2015 --- Case status updated to "Green card was mailed" (did not see any tracking number)

I have only checked my case status on the website once when I got the NOAs in the mail, so I can't tell if anything changed since then. I have not received emails/texts for the appointment date, just the letter in the mail today. You will be getting yours soon for sure.

Yet to get my biometrics appointment.

Online status says " On March 16, 2015, we accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status. Our Texas Service Center location is working on your case. We mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice."

Not sure if this means they have sent the biometrics letter or not.

March 17th - Got email and text notifications for I-485, I-131 and I-765 (one notification for each form)

March 21st - Got the hard copies of NOA for I-485, I-131 and I-765.

3/12/15 - (Day 1)- AOS package delivered to Dallas Lockbox

3/17/15 - (Day 6)- Got NOA1 via emails and texts

3/21/15 - (Day 10)- Received the hard copies of the NOAs via mail

4/08/15 - (Day 28)- Received the hard copy of my biometrics appointment. Scheduled for 4/22/15

4/15/15 - (Day 35)- Walk in Biometrics... FAIL! Supervisor at the Boston ASC asked me to come back at 8am on the day of the appointment (4/22/14).

4/22/15 - (Day 42)- Biometrics Completed

5/15/15 - (Day 65) - I-485 - Card in Production

Well, I had a feeling it was gonna happen, so it did happen. Got the RFE email today for the initial evidence. Can't wait to get the hard copy of it, they gave us time until April 26, so I'm wondering what it might be with such a short period for us to respond.

What is RFE for Initial evidence?

I don't know yet, but it should be something about the paperwork which we already sent. I will find out, when we get the letter. All I know that RFE for initial evidence is about the paperwork they already have and RFE for additional evidence when they want something else, what wasn't in your original package.

I just hope it's not about affidavit of support, because we already sent them everything we have and we don't have anyone who can be our joint/co sponsor.

August 13, 2018 Brother-in-law went to our old residence to pick up a card from the current residents August 16, 2018 Card was mailed to me

May 26, 2015, Hard copy of NOA2 for I-765 received                                         May 27, 2015, EAD was mailed to me
May 29, 2015, EAD received                                                                 June 15, 2015, Hard copy of NOA2 for I-485 received. Interview scheduled for July 21  June 18, 2015, Interview was canceled                                             June 27, 2015, Hard copy of NOA2 received. New interview date is July 27
July 27, 2015, Interview completed. Approved on the spot
July 28, 2015, Got texts and emails for case updates. Form I-130: the petition was approved. Form I-485: new card has been ordered and welcome notice was mailed
August 3, 2015, Welcome notice and NOA2 for I-130 received      August 20, 2015, Email notification "Card has been mailed"
August 22, 2015, Green Card received
