Hi to all,

anyone please help me, how to get the referral letter they're asking fom me. I am applying for Police clearance.. thank you!

We refer to the application for the above Certificate for the above named.
Please note that we received the application documents; however, we cannot
process the application because there is no official letter from government
authority. Please understand that a referral letter issued from relevant
consulate or government authority to support the purpose of application is
our fundamental requirement. The letter essentially proves the request of
CNCC and that the government authority is willing to receive your CNCC,
which will be directly sent to it. Without that letter, we cannot process
any applications. Therefore, please provide with us a letter from
government authorities stating the production of the Certificate is
required and the reason. The letter should contain the applicant's full
name and preferably the case number given.

Please visit our homepage (
http://www.police.gov.hk/ppp_en/11_useful_info/cert_no_crime.html#) for
details of the application procedures and required documents.

Please email or fax (852-22004321) to this office the required documents
and information on or before 2015-03-31, otherwise, we will return all
documents as we cannot keep any documents that the case could not be
proceeded with.

Below is what Hong Kong Police require so you can use your NOA 2.

"The original and a photocopy (for each applicant) of the letter from NVC which contains his/her name and the checklist of documents necessary for obtaining a visa (the one that references the need for police certificates)" On the copy of the NOA2/NVC letter, highlight the sentence that requires a police clearance from any country you have lived in for more than 6 months (make sure it is a copy and not the original you are sending). That should do it.

I did sent them the checklist but not the letters from NVC, the NVC letter doesn't specifically state the need of the police clearance though.. it only contain the link for me to download the packet 3, but yes, I am willing to do that.. sending them the letters my fiancé received and the one I received too.. hope that will do.. thank you very much for your reply.. much appreciated
