I would much rather come back to encourage those still waiting ?. Anyway, our 60 days were up on Friday so hopefully we will hear good news soon. I commented on the video Janelle but also wanted to say here that you are so incredibly strong. I sometimes don't understand how people get through this process when it's so painful and drawn out for them. But I feel like your video answered that question. You survive it with your determination and passion for doing what's right and getting him home when that's what you both want and deserve.

Thank you for making this and trying to spread awareness of what the process is really like. (L)(F)

Janelle, that video is amazingly strong. Are we to submit to you and you'll post? I want to make sure we do this as a unified project.

Met in 2010 on a forum for a mutual interest. Became friends.
2011: Realized we needed to evaluate our status as friends when we realized we were talking about raising children together.

2011/2012: Decided we were a couple sometime in, but no possibility of being together due to being same sex couple.

June 26, 2013: DOMA overturned. American married couples ALL have the same federal rights at last! We can be a family!

June-September, 2013: Discussion about being together begins.

November 13, 2013: Meet in person to see if this could work. It's perfect. We plan to elope to Boston, MA.

March 13, 2014 Married!

May 9, 2014: Petition mailed to USCIS

May 12, 2014: NOA1.
October 27, 2014: NOA2. (5 months, 2 weeks, 1 day after NOA1)
October 31, 2014: USCIS ships file to NVC (five days after NOA2) Happy Halloween for us!

November 18, 2014: NVC receives our case (22 days after NOA2)

December 17, 2014: NVC generates case number (50 days after NOA2)

December 19, 2014: Receive AOS bill, DS-261. Submit DS-261 (52 days after NOA2)

December 20, 2014: Pay AOS Fee

January 7, 2015: Receive, pay IV Fee

January 10, 2015: Complete DS-260

January 11, 2015: Send AOS package and Civil Documents
March 23, 2015: Case Complete at NVC. (70 days from when they received docs to CC)

May 6, 2015: Interview at Montréal APPROVED!

May 11, 2015: Visa in hand! One year less one day from NOA1.

Thank you so very much TwoChickies! I keep trying to be strong but is very, very hard. As humans we really need emotional support, especially when times are the hardest. I will keep being determined and thank you for your support. (L)

Hi Not a Tailor. Absolutely! Send it to me and I will upload. Once we have enough videos I can make it public so anyone will be able to search it. I want it to be a unified project as well. We all need to come together and still by each other's side.

I left out some things I would love for someone else to touch on in their video if they could please.

People who are stuck in AP status for years.

Our nations leaders saying the system is broke, but they will never talk about exactly what is broken.

And I forgot to ask the most important question, who is willing to help us?

If anyone else can think of anything additional that needs to be covered in our videos please chime in.

Your video is moving, and I wanted to hug you and offer my Support.

That probably wont help at all, but please know that you have out there sending you prayers and good thoughts.

You are strong, stay strong and I so wish the end of this journey is just around the corner and that you will be with your husband in sooner then latter.
