We hired a lawyer for my AOS process, I know I need to ask him all the questions I have but he is off weekends and Im just curious, today I received my Letter for the biometrics and it says it's a courtesy copy, does that means he receives the original ones? Will I be ok to go with the courtesy copy the day of my biometrics or do I need the original one?

Not quiet sure who can answer this because as you are aware this is a DIY website and therefore 99% of us do not use lawyers.

As long as the letter states your name and your appointment date and time you should be fine.

Just make sure you take that with your passport and marriage certificate because sometimes they need that to verify who you are.

I didn't need my certificate just my app letter and passport but that was in Cleveland Ohio.
