Hank,

Nevermind my last question, you answered it in an earlier post:

The visa is printed in the passport so yes the embassy will keep the passport after the interview and deliver it and a DO NOT OPEN envelope to your fiancee upon final approval.

Thanks again!

Can she pick it up at a 2GO branch along with her visa/passport since she can't receive mail/deliveries?

Yes when your go to schedule the interview online you can list a 2GO office for pickup. MOA is the fastest location if you live close to that.

Hank,

Got it! Unfortunately she lives in Quezon City and works in Eastwood, so she'll probably pick a 2GO office around those areas. We're not in a huge hurry for her to get to the US so if it takes a bit longer for her visa to reach another office, that won't be an issue.

Thanks again!

MOA is only a 1-2 days quicker.

Ah if that's the case, then yeah she'll just pick a more convenient 2GO location. Thanks again Hank!

Thanks sevenrider!

Hank - I'm actually going to the Philippines next month to propose in person and yeah was already gathering those two forms for her to fill out and sign while I'm there. Thanks for the reminder!

Oh ok, that makes sense as to why they'll keep her passport.

Thanks everyone for all the support! I'm so glad I found this site as it definitely helps ease mine and my girlfriend/financee's concerns!

Goodluck on the proposal! And I gather you haven't filed for the I-129F petition? If not, probably best to run through all the documents your soon-to-be-fiancee needs to sign. NBD if you missed something because she can fedex it back to you but it will save you guys some $$$$.

Thanks kipper!

I have not, but I have started working on it. I will file it when I get back around mid April. Yes, I will have her copy of the Letter of Intent to Marry along with her G-325A to sign not to mention we will also get the 2x2 photos done while I'm there.
