Where to file I-129F

Hi Guys,

I looked at the website of the uscis en this is the only only address I found to file our I-129F:

File Form I-129F at the USCIS Dallas Lockbox facility:
For U.S. Postal Service (USPS):

USCIS
P.O. Box 660151
Dallas, TX 75266

But I saw there were people here filing at other offices so I'm wondering if this is the right one for us or where we can double check whether it is or not.

We are located in Los Angeles, CA. (and Antwerp, BE ^^)

03/13/2015: received confirmation (Form I-797), file will now get routed to the USCIS California Service Center for processing. We wait :)

All applications get sent to the Dallas lock box, at least for a k1 visa. From there they will assigned you a service center.

Oh okay, cool.

I was just talking to someone who said they filed at Texas and have been waiting 5 months, but maybe he's talking about a different form and/or a service center? 5 months seems incredibly long... Do you have any idea how long it take for the Dallas Lock Box to go through the I-129F?

03/13/2015: received confirmation (Form I-797), file will now get routed to the USCIS California Service Center for processing. We wait :)

Dallas Lockbox doesn't process I-129F's, they accept your package and then assign you a service center; either Texas Service Center or California Service Center. I got assigned Texas and we're currently nearing 6 months wait. Lucky for you, since you're in LA and will get California, you should have an approval/REF within a month. Good luck!

Dallas Lockbox doesn't process I-129F's, they accept your package and then assign you a service center; either Texas Service Center or California Service Center. I got assigned Texas and we're currently nearing 6 months wait. Lucky for you, since you're in LA and will get California, you should have an approval/REF within a month. Good luck!

I'm sorry your wait time is so mortifying! But the party when it's all set and done will be all the more amazing :)

I wish everyone on here could just come together at some point and throw a huge " YEAH WE MADE IT" party...

Hahaha, I agree! Thanks for the kind words.

It's hard enough as it is, this forum is a beautiful place really... everyone's heart is in this thing and so far I've had nothing but really great experiences talking to people. Might as well just support each other because let's be honest, nobody really gets this unless you're in it.

And people around me are always so friggin dramatic about it :D I'd rather come here and be all motivational with people who actually know what the heck this all is...

I and my fiancé are working on the I-128F form. For the letter of intent to marry that we have to provide. Which address shall we put for the service center. Shall we put the Laguna Niguel address as CSC or the Texas Lockbox or just leave it blank?

this is confusing...

letter of intent, i put the

USCIS

and i am sending (today) my package to SAME adress... i live in florida...

what is this DALLAS lockbox adress all about?

Just follow the official instructions: http://www.uscis.gov/i-129f

As is mentioned earlier in this thread, ALL I-129F petitions need to be sent to the Lewisville (Dallas), TX lockbox facility for initial processing, and then are transferred to the appropriate service center for further processing. Use the specific address relative to the method of package delivery you have chosen.

You can put the Lewisville (Dallas) lockbox address on your initial letter of intent. The important thing is that you sign and date it, and include it with your initial I-129F package.
