No status on K1 on Ceac

But you said they returned your passport right? Is there any way that u can call the embassy and ask? How can they issue u ur visa if u have your passport with you?

Hello, everyone !

I have had K1 visa interview a week ago, they gave me 221(g) form with marked "administrative processing", gave me passport back, but kept our chats and pictures. Now when i check my visa status, it tells always NO STATUS! i put right "Nonimmigrant" category. what can it mean? that they never update it?

You will need the actual NVC case number.

Administrative Processing (AP) can take anywhere from 1 week to 10 years.

November 14th, 2013: She's here!

December 12th, 2013: Picked up marriage license.

December 14th, 2013: Wedding

If they gave you passport back, they arent going to issue visa now.

They need ask you for passport to issue.

If they havent asked for passport then be patient,

Administrative processing can be weks, months, and years.

I have 11 months in ap now.

So be patient, and pray that they ask for passport.

yesterday i got call from embassy, they told "we finished to work on your visa"....i asked surprized: finished in positive or negative way? she answered- why it must finish in negative way! So she asked me to bring passports in embassy, i run the same day. Ceac shows ISSUED! i hope to get it Monday. So i thank all persons who answered on my questions, and i wish to all who is waiting for their visa to get similar call!

I have this same problem. We had the interview on 12/12 and have been approved, but the CEAC status says "no status." What does this mean?

07/18/2016- I-129F sent to Texas

7/22/2016- NOA1, case sent to CSC

7/28/2016- NOA1 by mail

09/06/2016-I-129F Approved

09/12/2016-NOA2 by mail

10/24/2016- Medical Interview

12/12/2016- Visa Interview and approval

12/29/2016- Visa issued

1/4/2017- Visa in hand 

1/7/2017- Entry into US 

2/8/2017- AOS and work auth package sent 

2/10/2017-Package received

3/1/2017-NOA's via text

3/4/2017-NOA's hard copy-missing all dates!!!!  

3/17/2017- NOA's came with correct info and dates 

3/30-2017-Biometrics in Orlando FL 

4/27/2017-EAD Approved 

5/05/2017- EAD in hand 

08/31/2017- Got RIFE 

09/28/2017- Sent RIFE Packet 

10/14/2017- Received green card w/ no interview 

07/11/2019- Sent Removal of Conditions Packet

08/07/2019- NOA by text and letter 

11/07/2019- Fingerprints taken

12/04/2020-Green card arrived w/ no interview (USCIS did not update online status)
