Thanks, Pheebs!

I get so confused...so before the interview my fiancé completes the DS form as well as this Readiness form? How are we informed of that form to complete? If it wasn't for you guys here, I'd haven't a clue! Haha :P

Does he bring both to the interview or just submits online?

You can do the DS-160 form now, no need to wait for anything to happen to complete it. When completed there'll be a confirmation page and that needs to be printed (you can email it to yourself/others if you don't have a printer). That's what you'll take to your interview.

The readiness form is an online form for when you have all the documents you need for your interview (you don't need to wait until after your medical to complete this, but best to have the medical booked at least I'd say), which you will submit to basically say to the embassy "hey! I'm ready! hit me with an interview!" Once the embassy has received your medical results they'll see you've submitted the readiness form online and then send you an interview letter. :)

Charlie can't do the readiness form now because he is not even a month and a half past his NOA1 at Texas Service Center which is notoriously slow right now.

Charlie, you are confused because you are flapping about reading bits and pieces of forum talk. You are expending a great amount of energy without doing any actual research.

When London receives the approved petition file They will send a letter of instruction to Kas. It has a link to their instructions on the embassy webpage. They are explained Step1, Step 2, ......

Instructions here http://london.usembassy.gov/iv/fiance_instructions.html

Use a computer, not a mobile device. Bookmark pages. Make notes of the order in which things happen.

Send petition

Wait for NOA2

Wait for case to get to NVC

Wait for case to get to London

Wait for London to send instruction letter

Follow steps on website http://london.usembassy.gov/iv/fiance_instructions.html

Etc
