Hello All,

I would like to know if everybody that wins the lottery needs to provide an affidavit of support in other to get the VISA. There are conflicting views from people i have spoken to about this and some say it is mainly asked of people who do not have much chance of getting a job easily when they get to the sate based on their qualifications and or work experiences.

Also, should the affidavit be from only the addressee you have on the form 260?

Kindly clarify my doubt especially Ghanaian winners.

Thank you.

in Ghana, the U.S. embassy does not require Affidavit of Support (AoS) or I-134 before they can issue u a Dv visa if u can provide the address of a relative/close friend in the USA who has accepted to host u under the 'Host System'
