Wow..it has been a long time since i post here.anyway,one of my friend will apply K1 visa and i need some upadate here.For k1 package,could she sent money order $340 to USCIS with western union or money gram?seems like dont have personal check or bank check.will appreciate the answers

Yes, you can pay with a money order. That's what I used when I sent when I apllied for my fiancé in November. No problems at all.

Yes, you can use a money order. It states this right in the I-129F petition instructions.

The filing fee for a Form I-129F is $340.
There is no fee for Form I-129F petitions for classification of an alien as a spouse of a United States citizen.

1. The check or money order must be drawn on a bank or other financial institution located in the United States and must

Yes, you can. I remember my husband couldn't find his checkbook and he needed it immediately for I-129F. He went to post office and bought it. My husband told me that actually people are more accepted money order than a check because sometimes people write a check even they don't have money in their bank whereas money order is guaranteed since you bought this from a store or post office.
