I have two friend from Cameroon that have completed contract work with Petobras here in Rio de Janeiro/Brazil. They are currently in Brazil on Work Visas. They would like to obtain Work Visas for USA, so they can work in the USA. Is it possible to obtain another Work Visa to USA while they are currently in BRAZIL on a Work Visa? What they need to do? Thank you in advanced

Hi,

They need to find a U.S. employer who is willing to file for work visas on their behalf.

No one can apply for a visa and then find a job.

In this order; 1. US employer willing to hire them, 2. US employer files for visas.

None of the Brazil stuff matters.

LinkedIn?

Whatever is the normal route in their area of expertise.

thank you for the information.

how to find an employer or company to file the work visa?

Start with having an expertise that they may be looking for... And then normal way people look for jobs. Just recognize there are thousands of people that want to come work in US and somehow need to make yourself stand out.

I do not know of any company that goes looking to hire foreign workers.

Your friends will have to look at jobs posted by companies in their field.
