I've been reading a lot of posts of airlines not knowing what an EAD/ AP card is but they seem to be pretty old. How long have they been around for? Did anyone have problems with US Aiways and British Airways? Also do I have to fill out a new ESTA form? I don't think I need one but my travel agent was suggesting I'd fill out a new one for when I travel back. I'll be away for about a month.
Thank you.

Thank you.

I went to England for 6 weeks in December. I travelled on US airways. You don't need to fill in a new ESTA, the AP is now your travel visa.

What will happen is this. When you are due to travel back to the USA, you will get the notice to check in online, with US airways you cannot do this as you wont have an Esta, so you will have to do a self check in at the airport.. Mine was Manchester. When you put your passport in the machine you will have to put in your a resident of the USA for it to accept you checking in. Then when you arrive to the USA, well I queued up with the visitors line, I got to border control, they knew what the AP card was and I was taken to secondary as I was with my K1 visa, they however told me I could have gone into the USA/greencard queue and that is basically it really, other than don't renew your ESTA!

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

GC  Conditional date:  05/26/2015

N400.  Application:      02/28/2018

Biometrics:                    02/22/2018

Waiting............    Roll my eyes again :(

USA citizen as of 25th of July 2018. :)
