Hello... I'm sending my I-601A this week..my lawyer said that this application will take only 3 to 4 months....anyone had experience sending this application before..please let me know..thanks ..good luck in our journey..

My wife got confirmation her I-601a was received on 07/30/2015 and we received the approval on 10/03/2015. Hope this helps!

How long after the Bios did you receive the approval? My husband did his bios on Monday 2/23....now just hoping for a fast approval with no RFE....

We had to file an I-212, but our attorneys had our I-601 ready to file if asked. Our I-212 took three months to be approved. It took two additional months to make its path from one office to another until it reached the embassy. Our Senator's office was able to support us with information about where it was. Then we got word from our Senator's office that we would be contacted within 10 business days on our status. Seven days later, my fiancee was called that the passport, visa, and visa packet was ready to be picked up at Cargo Express.
