we just got our NOA1 and the receipt starts with SRC which means it'll be process on Texas Service Center but my fiance lives in Virginia. We thought the processing will take place in Vermont Service Center because his place is under on its jurisdiction would it mean that its gonna stay in TSC?

Anyone who can shed light on this matter is reallt a big help. Thank you.

Vermont has not been processing I-129Fs since 2013. Virginia regularly gets processed by TSC.

Welcome to the forum! Sit back and relax, waiting times at TSC are around 7-8 months at the moment.

7-8 months? Oh wow. Do you have any idea why TSC have a very long waiting time compare to others? Been observing some of the timeline here and few were approved in less than 3 months.

By the way thank you for answering ?

They are backlogged.

The only cases with quick approvals listed on here are either Filipino expedites (due to the Typhoon in 2013) or people who mess up their Service Center listing (The california service center approves in roughly a month these days).

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you just gotta wait with the rest of us.

I am guessing you are the Filipino beneficiary or the US petitioner engaged to someone originating from the Phillipines?

If so, then no, most likely you will have your approval in 4-8 weeks and won't have to wait like the rest of us.

I am the filipino beneficiary. Just had to asked because my vj timeline have this estimate on our case.

--- Processing

Estimates/Stats : Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between August 23, 2015 and August 31, 2015*. ---

I do hope so we'll hear feedback base on the weeks you said. Thank you so much for accomodating all my questions. Wish you all the best in your journey. God Bless.

The VJ timelines are really for "entertainment purposes" only. Don't put all your eggs in that basket. They are sometimes WAYYYYYYYYYYY off. The stats depend on people updating their information. If they don't do that, its not worth even looking at it. Its better to follow a specific thread for your filing date.

I also wouldn't count on having a shorter wait just because you are a Filipino beneficiary. Get ready for a long wait, if you get through faster, then just thank God. One thing with immigration is, you never know what is going to happen. Good thing the Executive action for the DAPA has been put aside for a while, those petitions are going to slow down the entire process FOR SURE.

We were stuck at the TSC for an eternity. They are slow as molasses. Good Luck with that .

I understand and thank you everyone. By the way we checked our status online and this is what we got:

"On February 9, 2015, we received your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number SRC**********, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by March 11, 2015, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to"

We only got an I-797C notice of action and there is no description included there as to how they will process the case also what kind of receipt of notice are they referring to? Is it the noa1?

LoveMyTico, I have to totally disagree with you about Igor's List!

When we were at VSC we were only 6 days past out projected date!

My good friend was 6 days early on Igor's list.

It is a good cross section of America, and a good gauge to go by. You cannot look at the USCIS site as it is worthless.

Yes, many things can skew the time lines, BUT it is the best indicator we have and be thankful we have it.

Yes that is your NOA1.

The receipt of notice will be your NOA1 hard copy.

There really isn't a description that states how a case is. Processed.
