Received Two Notices from the NVC in two days. Conflicting Message

I received the infamous Checklist on the 19th. This Checklist was asking for everything our lawyer had already submitted electronically (passport, Police Clearance, Marriage certificate, birth certificate). Before you go off on my lawyer not know what he is doing, he is a corporate immigration lawyer provided to me by my company who has dealt with many similar cases.

The next day on the 20th, they sent out another email to me that said they received my documents 30 days ago and are in the process of reviewing them.

So i called up the NVC and spoke to a woman there and she said they have all the documents and everything is good.

Now I don't want to just ignore the checklist incase they really are missing documents and plus it would help greatly with piece of mind knowing i won't have to submit those documents again and wait another 60 days.

Secondly, my other question is, assuming they did receive my documents, does their 60 day review period start from the date we sent them or the date of the notice they received it?

Thanks!

Is it possible that you filled out the DS-260 about one month ago? That generates a false checklist if it appears in their system that you have not submitted the AOS/IV packages by the time they review the DS-260. This happened to me. I see that you sent the AOS/IV packages in January, but I assume you're doing electronic processing and from what I've seen on here confirmation emails are delayed by a month or more so it's possible that it appeared on their system that you had not submitted them. The same thing happened to me (see signature). We called NVC like you did, and they said it was fine. We didn't do anything about the false checklist and everything was fine.

Regarding your other question, I'm not sure what is going on exactly with electronic processing but for regular mail at least inside the 60-day notice it says "we received your documents on XX date", and that's the date that counts. You can always call and ask. Good luck!
