Processing Times Info Question

Hi guys, I have been checking the Processing Times part of the forum regularly and I was wondering how accurate the I-765 and I-131 parts are. We sent our application by Dec 26 2014, got an RFE on Jan 23 and USCIS sent us and update on Feb 13 stating that they received our RFE package, it also says that we will hear back before April 14. From what I ve seen here from other members most of them got their work permit put on production within a week or so after sending their RFE, should I be worried? For now my wife is working and taking care of us but we are in financial hardship what can I do to get my EAD fast?

Your help is much appreciated. Thanks
