i have a question. my case was at NVC since last year of May. i sent AOS month of June and i recieved checklist month of August. i didnt comply to what they had asked because i resigned from my work month of July. until now i dont have a work but i decided to get a co sponsor. my question is..

1. if they receive my AOS documents am i getting a responce still after 60 days?

2. if there is something lack on my papers..is it possible that NVC will just ask us to bring it at US consule during my wife's

interview?

It will probably be best for you to call the NVC to inquire about your case. I am not sure if there is a certain amount of time you have, to respond to a checklist from the NVC. My documents are at the NVC now so this part is new to me. I know at the USCIS stage if you got an RFE . you are giving a certain amount of time to respond, with the NVC I do not know.

thank you for the reply. i read the email the NVC sent if one year and you still didnt comply everything you had started will be going to nowhere...you will pay again and sent everything again. so im safe with that. my case will be one year this coming May. the only question i have is....if they received the documents which was on the CHECKLIST..will they wait for 60 days before reviewing it.
