No valid record visa payment fee Over 24 hrs already

Hi, I paid the visa fee at BPI in person Jan. 28 15:23:17, but still getting a "no valid record notice" whenever I try to key in the receipt number in my customer copy sheet.

I called the hotline and the girl said the status is not activated or something. She said I should check again tomorrow, and if the status doesn't change, they'll start taking action. I'm posting here to see if anyone is having the same problems too. :(

It's not unusual for this to happen. We have seen 6 to 48 hours before it's posted and let's you use your receipt number. Give it a few hours and try again. There are plenty of dates to book so it shouldn't slow you down much.

It takes time for BPI and the embassy to get updated, most time 24 hours or more. Try later.

If after 24 hours it still is not taking your receipt number, try your passport number

Hi, it's already 48 hrs and still getting the same "no valid record" message. I tried my passport number as well, but no success. :( I called the hotline and on their end it (my payment) shows as "not activated". They said it's already been escalated. I hope they do look into it despite the coming weekend. :(

Is there a different receipt number printed on your copy of the deposit slip?

Normally the deposit slip number is used as the receipt number, sometimes the bank drifts back to days of old and uses the passport number, and lastly there is a change there is a random receipt number printed on the receipt.

Well, at least you've figured out how to get a payment receipt, dynm. My fiancé and I keep being routed to this BPI registration site. There, she cannot get passed the "immigrant" or "nonimmigrant" feature...

It would appear this is something new (?). We've yet to find page wherein we can print a receipt and personally carry to the bank....

Full disclosure: neither of us are exactly computer whizzes! lol

Here's the webpage we've been attempting to work with: http://ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-paymentinfo.asp

Hank, I've routinely praised your fantastic guide and will continue to do so. I don't know how or why my missing something (not the fault of your guide) would hurt your feelings? B-)

Edit: Found it (finally! again, this is on ME). Moreover, for whatever reason, my fiancé prefers not to pay online (?).

My receipt # is still not being accepted ("No valid record"). I would call again on Monday and I'm thinking of dropping by the embassy in person to help me get an appointment? I can show them my receipt. It seems like a system glitch. :(

Stopping by the embassy will not help, you won't be allowed in. Call them.

Hi. We are experiencing the same problem. We paid the visa fee at BPI (branch 450) in cash last January 27, 2015. Receipt is not yet activated till now, and yes they said issue has been "highly" escalated.

Its frustrating how the issue is still unresolved even after several days (almost for a week). We were inquiring via phonecall everyday, retrying the receipt number on the online scheduling webpage almost every hour or so. I also emailed the support email with the details of the issue and a scanned copy of our receipt, but to no avail... Their single response since then was that the issue has been escalated and we should wait for an email notice. However, people who recently paid seem to be able to reserve dates for interview as the earliest available date has changed...

After several inquiries, it was concluded that payments made during BPI's system upgrade were problematic, though im pretty sure it should have ended last Jan 26 or 27 morning...

Calling and email is our only hope I guess, still I dont think I can get a definite answer from them since they told me their real work is to assist with scheduling appointments and that our issue would be handled by someone else who's primary work is with regards to payment and etc., just that they cannot give me the contact person of that specific person/office.

I will try calling again after a while.
