Vaccination -no record in India

My wife's I130 is filed and she will interview as an IR\CR1 applicant in New Delhi. The consulate Medical sheet lists a host of exams and vaccination requirements. She was born in rural India before her family moved to the city in her teens. She was immunized as a child.. but does not have records -other than the marks on her arms.

Question:

Would she be asked to retake the shots?.. or

Do physicians have the option to waive immunization requirements based on their professional opinion during the examination? Appreciate any advise from anyone familiar with the issue.

She is in excellent medical condition otherwise.

Even though my wife lived in a major city (Shanghai) all her life, they still didn't keep good records of immunization.

She received immunization shots from various different schools and hospitals/clinics when she was young,

and there were no official requirement to keep any records of them back then.

So she went to the medical exam without any past shot records, and the exam went fine,

and they gave here few shots on the spot.

There are so many filer outside of US that are in same situation, and as long as she passes

the medical exam and receives required shots there, all should be fine with this.

Good to know.. things indeed can be different in various countries.

We're just trying to be prudent as we plan down the road. I'll suggest to my wife's family not to go out of the way to procure records; we'll just wait till she is at the medical appointment. Hopefully all should be fine.

That shows what you have immunity to, and therefore don't require shots for. In the end I only needed a tetanus booster. That one injection cost me ten dollars. I took those results, from the lab to the medical exam. The test cost a bit, and I had to pay for it, and I don't know if this is an option for her, where she lives, but it did save me from having a whole lot of shots I did not need.

Even if she had the shot records, likely they are long time ago,

and she will need booster shots again to enter US.

The doctor will determine this, and administer few required shots to her during the medical exam.

As long as she's healthy, all should be fine.

I don't know anything about a titre test.

My wife lives in a mid-size city north of New Delhi, fairly cosmopolitan area, maybe comparable to Dunedin, NZ. But I think we'll wait till the medical appt and figure out what's needed at that time. Hopefully one or two booster shots and she should be good.
