I am a USC female 39 and my fiance is 25 (he'll be 26 in May). Can any female with the a similar age difference share their experience during this process. Trying to get an idea of what I may be in store for :-)

You wont have no problem.... it's not a big deal. I went though with a K-1 visa and consular didn't give me a hard time. Just make sure you have enough evidence (pictures, phone logs, proof of trips & etc.) GOOD LUCK!!

In your case, it's possible there may be issues, considering the country the beneficiary is in. Maybe not during the petition phase. But possibly during the interview.

Lol our age difference is more than yours.so far no problems.love should not have an age( as long as both are of legal age) .we are waiting for his interview. he is more matured than some men here! My kids(older) love him and so for my grandkids.I hope the embassy takes this into consideration.. look at Hugh Hefner! Lol

It really shouldn't matter, but as someone mentioned, it may give you a bit (maybe not though) of trouble because of the beneficiary's native country. But my fiance is about 33 and I am just 29. It wasn't a big deal and the process was a breeze (thanks to all the help of fellow VisaJourney members).

They would be more concerned about other things like the legitimacy of the relationship, finances and whatnot. Other than that I think you will not have a problem, as long as all your papers are in order.

My husband and I have a 13 year difference and they never had a problem with it. The age difference was never addressed in the K1 application process or at the interview. As long as you have evidence of your relationship you shouldn't have a problem! :)

Same here. I am almost 18 years older than my fiance, now husband, and the question of age never came up during the interview. As long as you have all the proof that the relationship is real, you will not have any problems. Don't worry, you should be OK.

My (now) wife has just turned 60, and I just turned 48. We were approved without any questions

about the age difference. I (beneficiary) *did* prepare for some questions about it at the interview,

but, as said.. was not needed :)

Good luck!
