Affidavit of Support Join Sponsor not in reach anymore.

Hi. My friend is in a situation where He applied for his spouse for F2A. but had asked for an Affidavit of Support Sponsor from an aquaintance (Someone he knew slightly).

Now the Problem is that. the Joint sponsor is somehow not in reach anymore. not picking up his calls and does not want to meet him anymore. My friend is worried about the 2014 taxes. What if Immigration Authority asks for 2014 Tax Returns of joint sponsor and himself.

Is it possible for him to change his joint sponsor at this point?

What will be the aftermath, if he is unable to submit 2014 Tax returns of his joint sponsors.

your repiles will be of greater values.

thankyou

If USCIS asked for something from the joint sponsor that you cannot provide (or they cannot / will not) then the application would be denied.

Finding another joint sponsor would be a good idea; you can change them before the visa is issued.

If your friend is interviewed before the deadline of filing taxes, he's good to go without submitting the petitioner & JS's 2014 ITR and W2.

If your friend is interviewed after the deadline of filing taxes, then he must present the petitioner & JS's 2014 ITR and W2.

As advised, you can find a new JS and provide new AOS docs on the day of the interview. No point submitting it to NVC if your friend is case complete already.

No JS = no visa
