Hello guys!

I am a foreign pharmacy graduate who wants to sit for FPGEE test ( Foreign Pharmacist Graduate Evaluation Examination) which is held twice every year in the United States. I have already registered to NABP (National Associations of Boards of Pharmacy) and have received both the identification card and ATT letter ( Authorization to Test) from it to sit for the test. I am scheduled to appear in April, 2015 but i have no idea which visa to apply for. Some say it is visit visa which i should be applying. But with tourist visa i have to show strong intent to return back to my country which is not possible for me because if i pass the FPGEE test , i have to complete 1500 hours of my internship there, then only i will be eligible to appear on the final test, i.e NAPLEX. So what do i say to the interviewer??? how do i convince him to allow my visit?? i also have my relatives who are US citizens but i am thinking of not stating it because what i think is it may weaken my chance of getting the visa. Or does it strengthen my chances, i don't know!! Your opinions are warmly welcome.

Thanks in advance.

1500 hours of internship. Even if you did 40 hours per week, it would take you 38 weeks.

Is the internship a paid position? Who is sponsoring the internship.

There is absolutely no way you will get a visitor visa to do an internship like this.

Furthermore, you are required to disclose US relatives in the application. If you lied, don't bother packing your bags to come here. This is a misrepresentation that could end with you getting a ban from the US.

The company who you would do the internship with would need to sponsor you for a visa
