Dohn,

I am in the same boat. Mine was transmitted on the 5th. When my fiance contacted the consulate, they asked her to keep contacting them for verification. They also said it can take between 5-14 days for it to arrive and my fiance should be receiving an email.

I was able to file the DS-160 through the website. Make sure to save all confirmation pages in pdf. It also has option to email it to you.

Hope you guys don't mind if I answer.

Not sure if New Delhi consulate sends packet 3, Mumbai didn't . Once case is listed as ready on the department of state website, we contacted the consulate and asked for packet 3, they sent email twith instructions. It looks like the below and gives exact breakdown of the order of things to be done. You'll see that biometrics and interview are the last steps.

Once we got the email on Jan 16th, my fiance booked his medical appointment and applied for the PCC. We will now do DS 160 and the rest.

Good luck to you! :goofy:

PS Here is the link for New Delhi Embassy and their contact details http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=India&cty=Delhi
