USCIS NEBRASKA CASE UPDATE

Greetings,

I submitted my I-130 for my spouse in July with a priority date July 15th (Nebraska Center). On July 24th we got a status update that the Alien registration number was changed, and then for a while there were no updates. After the USCIS Site update I was not able to check my case status, and this Sunday finally I get 4 text messages and an e-mail that there was an update to my case. When I went to check it for some reason it went back to the first message just saying that they received my application and the July 24th update was not there anymore. In short my case status went backwards.

Any idea why this might have happened and what the reason is?

Thank you very much!

We weren't able to see the file online since the update

We got a txt over the weekend informing us about the update, just to get that the only available update is that 'case was received' on 10/09

I put down the service req. And they said it's on background check.

UNBELIEVABLE, IT'S SUPPOSED TO TAKE 5 MONTHS. SORRY TO HEAR THAT. MY 5 MONTHS WILL BE ON THE 15TH, LOOKS LIKE IT WILL TAKE LONGER.
