N400 Interview: Document Checklist. Please let me know if I'm missing anything.

Timeline

I have my interview in a week and started arranging all the documents required. I created a document checklist and needed your input to see if I'm missing anything. Please have a look and any input would be appreciated.

Interview File Content:

1. Interview notice (I-797C)

2. Yellow pre-interview notice and document checklist

3. Notice of acceptance & biometrics. Any additional notices.

4. Current Green Card

5. Driver’s license

6. Social Security Card

7. Birth Certificate

8. Employment proof (3 months paystubs & 5 years W2)

9. Selective Services Registration

10. Proof of residency (3 Months utility bills)

11. Both passports (one expired)

12. 4 passport photos

13. Marriage certificate

14. Spouse’s passport and birth certificate

15. Proof of travel to India & Canada

16. 5 year tax returns & tax transcripts

17. Lease agreement, car registration, car insurance, copy of spouse’s driver license, bank statements, travel documents

18. Photos with friends and family, Facebook history

19. Background records – Complaint, online record, payment and disposition (both)

20. Pencil, pen and sharpie

21. I140 for green card

22. Any updated information on a new sheet of paper, dated and signed

There's no need for tax returns if you're having tax transcripts. It sounds like you're applying under the 3-year rule so make sure your leases, bank statements, utility bills, insurances cover three years and not the last few months. I don't think a Sharpie is required either :) Your list looks good! Good luck!

I thought I'll take a sharpie in case he wants the passport photos and I have to write my A number on the back. I tried pencil but it doesn't work that well :D

Is your SSN card even necessary. I certainly didn't take mine to my interview and it was never asked for.

This is just to be on the safe side. We do put SSN on application and I would believe IO can ask for it if he wants to. Why take a chance.
