hi guys. can u help me please? im filling out affidavit of support form together with my co-sponsor, (husband's sister) and i dont know what to check in the very first "question".

http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-864.pdfthis is the form and the number 1 is asking for who the sponsor is, if they are the petitioner or not ,etc. which one should i check if its my cosponsor sponsoring me? "ii am the only joint sponsor" or "i am first of two joint sponsors" please help out!

Your husband will tick 1a ( I am the petitioner...) on his copy of i-864 and your sister in law will tick 1d (i am the only joint sponsor) on hers I-864.

what to do if my cosponsor only has tax returns for 2013 and 2012 and not for 2011 and my husband only has for 2013

You only need last years tax return to be attached with i-864 but both petitopner and co-sponsor need to write down figures from the last 3 yrs on the form itself.

i know that but i cant write anything in there because cosponsor doesnt have taxes for 2011 and husband doesnt have taxes for 2012 and 2011...so idk what im supposed to do. attach some kind of explanation or what

Both have to attach a statement explaining why they weren't required to file taxes.
