NVC already forwarded our approved USCIS K-1 visa to US Embassy in Abu Dhabi last Nov. 17, 2014. Any idea roughly how long it will take before i receive my appointment interview?

did you get your invoice number and receipt number? you can check on line https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx, it will tell you when it has arrived and ready for you to send in ur ds 160 etc

I just got my case number from NVC today and am wondering is this enough to schedule an appointment for a medical in UAE?

you have to wait for the appointment letter that the embassy will send you because they will put the list of the panel physician authorized by the embassy in uae. my fiancee just got the email of my appointment letter today and it will be on january 25, 2015. we are both happy that finally we have an interview date already.

Usually you can call the clinic 2 weeks before the interview to sched your appointment..and like what ive said..they are giving atleast 2months before the interview to gather all the necessary document.goodluck to all your upcoming interviews?

Yes you need to wait the appoinment letter..and any how 2weeks prior to your interview to do an appoinment.you can call them for inquiries.goodluck
