Nope, people get pregnant all the time...no reason to expedite.

No, pregnancy by itself is not considered by USCIS to be a valid criteria for case expedition. If it were, there would likely be a LOT more pregnant couples seeking visas. :lol:

I don't believe that it can be expedited. There would be nothing holding you back from being with her for the birth in her could try. Quite possibly a less expensive birth as well.

The petitioner is pregnant, which means she is a US citizen, so will give birth in the US.

Not for pregnancy, but if you can prove financial hardship, then it could potentially be expedited.

It would actually be more financial hardship with a k1 visa as we cannot work for at least 3-4 months after arrival.

So you'd be supporting your partner and trying to prepare for a baby.

(This is all considering the many months one would be pregnant before the actual move to the states too)

This is also why pregnancy can never and will never be expedited under any circumstances.

Actually, there are many ways to prove financial hardship, and it is one of the ways you can have the petition expedited, and that is why I said financial hardship, not pregnancy.

The fact that the beneficiary cannot work upon arrival does not exclude the petitioner from making a case for financial hardship.
