Administrative Processing for visa issuance in El Salvador

Hi i am looking for anyone that is currently going through or has recently gone through administrative Processing for the issuance of your visa in El Salvador. My husband's I-601 Waiver was approved April 23,2014. He received the email to go get his second medical exam on October 22, 2014. He had the medical exam completed on October 27, 2014. Now we haven't heard anything. Does anyone know what the processing times are for the visa issuance? I'm just very concerned at this point because i was told this was a quick process of 1-3 weeks.I have noticed they have updated the Status Updated Date multiple times so far, but it still says Administrative processing. So i'm confused and heartbroken. I was hoping my husband would be back by thanksgiving now i'm hoping he will be back before Christmas. Thank you!!

I am in the same place you are just a couple weeks later. My husband is in El Salvador now waiting for his passport. Visa was approved at interview on dec 9 we were told

Pick up passport in 4 days and it's been 3 weeks and it's not ready it's in admin. Process

Did you get your passport yet? And if so how long did it take?
