Bringing children to US

1. As a permanent resident, how long does it take to bring my unmarried children who are over 21 years old from Lebanon to the US?

2. What happens if they get married during this wait time. Do they become ineligible for immigrant visas?

3. How long does it take to bring them if their sister who is a US Citizen applies for them instead? and what happens if they get married during this wait time in this case?

1.It takes somewhere around 8 years

2.You're LPR so they cannot be married , if they are married they are not going to qualify and eligible for F2B visa.

3.If the sister file for them they are in F4 visa and the wait is over 10 years but in this case they can be married.

Thanks. Is it ok for both me and the sister to apply for them? if they get married and hence become inelligible for visas using my petition, there would be another petition for them out there from the sister

They can't get married until you become a USC and upgrade the petition.

Sorry Philip there can be two different petitions by two different petitioners for the same person at the same time. So mom could file as an LPR as well as sis. It's a backup plan in case one of them marries prior to mom naturalizing (is she choses to do so) or something happening to either petitioner.
