Thnx to all of u for ur support n help visa journey helped me alot during my tough time my husband was under lot of stress. Everyone feel free to ask me any questions I would feel obliged to reply. One more thing even thought my ds 260 was not expired we still send the confirmation page

Was it ur visa or ur husband? it was under AP? and did u know the reason for six months delay

It was my visa

My husband is us citizen n we r cousins

The reason is unknown of Ofcorse coz there is no explaining AP but still I am very thankful to Allah for the end my ap

Yea in the end Mashallah this matters and were you put on AP at interview with documents missing or everything was fine?

Hi islcr1

At my interview the co was a blond lady

She was very polite my interview was of three mints max. She told me all my doc r fine n that u r all set its not u. It's us we have to do some Administrative Pricessing it's very common n will take 1 to 3 months

N as for ur question we r cousins by marriage but

We do have some realities in USA who r first cousins n married. The law u were talking about does not apply to Muslims. Just like a Muslim family cannot adopt a child. The American do know that Muslims get married to their first cousins n this law does not apply to us

april 6 (embassy received the documents they asked us)

Thanks for the info Sarahch, I sent the docs and same day I sent email to embassy saying that I have sent my docs and scanned the receipt too and they replied the next daythat they haven't recieved it n I should contact them after four weeks with receipt number even I mentioned everything in email n today NVC says the same that they sent me that email!! i wonder why they replied the next that they haven't recieved it and wait four weeks even its Amex next day service?
