Now that I am beyond excited over getting my NOA2 notice for my I-129F, I realize I am confused on the next steps...

From what I understand it is:

Sent from TSC to NVC

NVC assigns #?

NVC sends me a bill?

Once bill is paid it gets sent to consulate...

Is this right? Can someone help fill me in?

Also, I don't have to send anything to NVC except payment since it was approved through USCIS, correct?

Thanks! Don't want to end up stalled with a RFE or the likes again...

You are confusing the IR-1/CR-1 process with the K-1 process. For K-1s it is much simpler - NVC simply assigns your case number and sends your package to your consulate. You will only need to deal with your consulate, not NVC. You don't have to pay NVC anything.

Different consulates have different procedures for K-1 visas. You should check the information on your consulate's website for the K-1 process.
