I sent an email yesterday at SLEC to inquire about the result of my Father's sputum culture...

Thank you for your inquiry.

Your father's sputum MTB culture results are now available. He may return to the clinic anytime this week for the completion of his medicals (i.e., vaccination). His report will likewise be released on the same day.

They didn't mention if He's negative or positive. Does he need to bring anything that day?

Being they are saying "for completion of the medical (i.e. vaccinations)" instead of DOT I would lean towards the culture was negative.

My fiance emailed them about my culture result and this the reply:

Mr. _____,

Your fiancee may come back on November 21,

2014 at 9:00A.M for possible

immunization and release of medical results.

Kindly inform her to bring her

passport, 2 visa photos, appointment letter

(original & 1 photocopy) and

SLEC official receipt. She may look for Ms. Joy

the nurse manager of the

Releasing area at the ground floor.

That is a good email, lists everything needed.

Notice the word "possible", SLEC isn't going to give details on sputum results until ....

Sputum is a sensitive thing only to be discussed between the patient and doctor in person. SLEC is continuously setting standards for excellence in medical screening services. Their HIPAA patient privacy protocal is a model for other health care facilities to strive towards.

Sis, I think yours (2 days) is better than mine. I finished my vaccination Friday at 3pm. Then Slec said they will deliver it that afternoon or 7am on Monday, my interview date since no office on weekends. But I think they delivered it on late Friday afternoon.

Maybe, your fiance or you can email them that your interview will be 2 days after the scheduled call so they can prepare your meds result and docs on the immunization day. You have to inform them ahead as what my fiance did and that is their reply.
