Really need advice!! I want to bring Mother to the US

Hello! I am a recently naturalized US Citizen. I've been waiting five years to petition my mother and I just finished filling out the I-130. I am however unsure how to answer the question of where my mother intends to live here in the US. My parents have been divorced for 8 years and my dad obtained his visa by marrying a US Citizen. I am living with my Dad at the moment. My plan is to move out and find my own place so I can live with my mom as soon as she receives her immigrant visa and her plans of moving here are final. Would it be a problem if I write our current address (a.k.a. My Dad's address) for that specific question? Thank you so much. I appreciate the help.

I wouldn't do that, it may cause questions.

How about putting a friend's address for now, or a nearby long-stay hotel, and then you can change the address once you find your own place?

Maybe you could put a relative's address. Or you could probably put "I am currently looking for another residence and will live at a different address when my mother immigrates." I doubt you would get an RFE for that since they can't expect you to stay in one place. Plenty of people move while the I-130 is pending.

This does not constitute legal advice.

Doubt you could leave the address empty because they need to send approval letter or RFE or whatever to you via mail through the address. How will they send you things without address?

Maybe there's some other method that I don't know of

The part that the OP is referring to is part 18, where the beneficiary intends to live, the actual address of the petitioner and of the beneficiary would still be filled in. They send RFE's or NOA's to the petitioner anyway, not the beneficiary.

This does not constitute legal advice.
