I-130 (DCF) - notice of receipt of relative immigrant visa petition

Hi

Was hoping someone could help me. My husband and I filed the I-130 to the London Embassy while we were living in the UK, however he has now moved to the USA and I live in the UK. I need to inform the US London embassy of the new address but which should I give the UK one I (the beneficiary) lives at or my husbands (the petitioner) in the USA. Worried if I give the USA address they will say we need to resubmit a new I-130 in the States??

Any help would be appreciated!

So you are the USC and you moved back to the United States? And you husband is staying behind in the UK and waiting on his approval?

If the UK address is the same then you don't need to notify them. Many times couples doing DCF will move back to the USA while the husband or wife stays behind and waits for their visa then joins them.

If the Beneficiary is still in the UK then there isn't a problem, and no need to contact them.

hehe other way around, OP meant that they're staying behind while their USC spouse went over. And agreed... it's completely normal for a USC to relocate once the petition is filed via DCF. If you want you can mail then a notice with the petitioner's and beneficiary's names in all caps (since you have no case number to identify you yet, this is the only way for them to match it to your petition) stating the change of address. It's not going to be that big of a deal, though, as long as you make note of the change when you file paperwork in the next few steps.
