Worried because the slow process

Good Afternoon,

Thank you for reading my post. I applied for AOS on August 5th, 2014. I received NOAs for all forms we applied :I-485, I-130, and I-765.

I had my biometrics done on 09/11/2014. Since that I didn't receive anything: No EAD card, no letter of invitation for interview, no RFE or Intention of Deny letters. I am concerned about the slowly process regarding my applications, especially I-765 because I really need to start working. I have a job offer and I am afraid I'll lose it.

I heard other people got help from Congressman, Congresswoman and Senators. WHo are these people? How do you contact them?

If I don't receive the card in 90 days (will be Nov. 7th), should I schedule an Infopass? Are the Interim EAD still available if not receive the EAD card in 90 days?

Any information on these topics would be really appreciated. Thank you so much.

You should consider making an InfoPass appointment to inquire about the status of your EAD.

BTW: What type of visa are you adjusting from?

I wouldn't worried too much if I were you. I filed mine on June 13th, biometric appointment on July 23rd and I got EAD on September 2nd. It takes a while and someone was longer than mine to get EAD. I am still waiting for I-485's approval.

Don't worry!

I came here too on k1, I applied for AOS at the end of June, I had my fingerprints on July 22. I got my EAD card on September 8! and last week I got an letter about my Green card and at the end it said this:

''Due to workload factors not related to your case, USCIS anticipates a delay in completing your case. Presently, we anticipate that delay to be approximatley 6 months from the date of this letter.

It seems like they have a lot of cases, they are busy! It just takes time..be patient. :)

She just got her biometerics done 9/11. Her AP/EAD could take up to 3 months to come in the mail. She should get her EAD/AP by mid-December.

Typically is 3 months from filing and typically biometrics happen about 1 month after filing; thus, expected time would be mid November. I'd still get an Infopass

My wife did her biometric appointment a couple days after you. We haven't received anything in the mail either. I guess we should schedule an InfoPass appointment.

Sorry for hijacking the thread. I thought wouldn't make sense to make another thread for the same topic. (And hi, I'm new here)

My employer applied for AOS (employment based) and received by USCIS on May 9th. I-140 was also submitted concurrently (EB-2).

Biometrics taken on Jun 11th.

I-140 got an REF, replied and got approved on Aug 13th.

EAD/AP card came early/mid of September.

Currently (Nov 4th) my AOS status is still in "Initial Review" stage.

Average processing time for employment based AOS at Nebraska Service Center is 4 months.

From the average processing time and the timing EAD came, looks like my case is running slow by almost two months.

Should I be worried? Is this a sign of something tricky coming? I'm getting quite a bit anxious.

Thanks in advance for your inputs.
