I had my medical today, Which went great. Then right as I was about to leave, The doctor said he wants me to contact MY gp to get a diabetic screening.

The earliest they can is the 10th of November. Will the medical results be delayed in being sent to the embassy until then? ?

Call the doctor back and ask. If I'm reading accurately, it seems that this doctor is simply concerned about your overall health and isn't just "mailing in" his professional duties. He noticed concerning laboratory results that he wants you to discuss with your own GP. More doctors should be like this embassy-medical doctor.

Please keep that Nov. 10 appointment with your GP. Diabetes mellitus can often be fought off, or its worst impacts minimized, if it's caught early.

I passed the actual medical, He said he just wants me to get the screening done as I have a high BMI. Wasn't a major concern, Pretty routine apparently. Edited October 24, 2014 by Sabrina_T

Then your results are likely to be sent to the consulate next week when your blood test results come back and nothing is flagged upon review.

Your medical results would only be delayed if they reviewed the exam, x-ray and blood test results and found something of concern that required further investigation and evidence from your GP. Since the Knightsbridge doctor told you that you passed, you don't have to be concerned unless they call you in the next few days. If you don't hear anything by next Friday and your CEAC status shows an update (likely indicating the receipt of your medical results by the consulate), you're in the clear with regard to this part of the immigration process.

I agree with TBoneTX, the doctor was just expressing concern for your overall health, outside of his remit with regard to immigration. At my medical, the doctor gave me a short lecture about breast cancer and self-examination - she was just doing her job as a medical professional. And yes, do attend the screening, even if it's not tied to the immigration process.
