It took my husband almost 5 years to get here. Islamabad embassy is the slowest embassy in the world. If you can't handle the pressure and stress of your long wait how will you handle other things that come up in your marriage?

Many people with old cases are now getting their visas so there is hope that your visa will come soon. In the mean time you need to pray for strength and see if your love can come to visit you.

We have only been on AP for five days due to the fact that we have to provide a new original marriage certificate cos the NVC lost it which made me to be in tension and sad but as soon as we provided it, our visa was approved and issued. So i understand what you are passing through... please keep praying,, i think it's because of how slow your embassy is and for coming from Pakistan where many people have same name , for example mohammed its a common name and there maybe some bad people bearing such names and you have a name hit that is why. But stand in there, you will get your visa issued by God grace.

Omg, put peopke in ap for years is inhuman thing

I dont understand how usa with all tecnologies that they have to do investigation , why they take so long to investigate cases?

They only show their incapacity to investigate and take a decision.

It sounds like the embassy will ask for newer documents and medical when they are ready to issue the visa. They also asked us for documents and we waited months for my husband to be called for another interview and medical. Be prepared to send proof that you are still in a loving relationship before they will issue it. Keep emails, phone records, pictures together and with family and letters from friends in Pakistan that know you are still married and love each other. The embassy can ask for proof that you are still together. They asked for this proof from us.

Stay strong and most of all keep believeing you will get the visa. Never give up hope.
