I actually used this as my template for the cover letter and for the assembly of the package since it was very specific... I altered specific to our case (different visa, different documents etc)

My wife and I are about to file her (as petitioner) I-130 and my (as beneficiary) I-485. This is the cover letter I plan to include, listing package contents. I would appreciate comments, even if they're just to say it looks fantastic (I can dream!).

9/17/15 : Green Card received!

6/13/17 : Mailed I-751.

6/16/17: I-751 delivered.

6/22/17: Received NOA 1 in Mail (dated 6/16/17).

7/20/17: biometrics done.

9/10/18: Approval letter received. 

9/13/18: Picked up card from Post office.
