I-601 and I-212 forms, something unclear.

Its taken 3 years. 3 years to summin up the courage to write and finally try to move ahead (or back home in this case). I was deported from America back in 2010 with a 10 year ban. I left the country I lived in my whole life and knew everything about to go to my "homeland" Syria. I've never set foot in Syria in my whole life. I barley spoke the language. Shortly after arriving, civil war broke out and I quicky and desperately moved the the neighboring country of Lebanon. In Lebnaon I signed up with the United Nations as a refugee and spoke to them about my situation to go back home. After one interview, no one responded. I have tried numerous ways to get a hold of them, but just get one closed door after another. While living in Lebanon, another civil war is soon to erupt. I dont know what else to do or where else to go. While researching, I have found that I must file a I-212 and a I-601 in order to go back home. I plan on doing this my self. I dont know under what basis to file my immigrant visa for. Or if my parents and sister should petition me. How to get back home is still unclear to me. Some direction would be greatly appreciated.

I am soooooo confused. If you have never set foot in Syria, then how is Syria your "Homeland". Where were you born and why were you deported from the USA?

I was born in Lebanon, but my father is of Syrian nationality. In most Islamic countries of dictatorship the child only gets the nTionality of their fathers not mothers. It's my homeland according to USCIS. That's my citizenship by birth. I was deportated for an illegal overstay.

That is true. He/she could be petitioned by his/her immediate family members, but still needs to overcome the 10 year ban.

My father and sister are citizens. My mother a green card holder ( citizen in 1 year)

you can;t come back to the US until your ban is over, 6 years from now

you may want to try to go to the site immigrate2us.net and get some information on waivers and whether you qualify. one of the waiver attorneys that is very well known and very popular with waivers does a free weekly chat on there and some of the other attorneys recommended on the site do free phone/Skype/internet consultations also.

Your dad (USC) is the best one to petition you

if you have no CIMT or negative immigration issues,

just deportation for overstay, there is a waiver

for that waiting 10 yrs is not necessary.

Why were U the only family member undocumented, did

U have charges after U turned 18?>. You cant file
