I started this only because the July Filers group has a lot of CSC members and all their posts are making my hopfeully but slightly discourgaing, mainly because I want to be in their shoes, as many of us do, but I figured this would be a better way to keep track of TSC July filers trying to get a decent est. of how things are going at Texas. Best of luck to all!! please feel free to share!!!

Great ! ... I couldn't believe there wasn't a dedicated TSC one but there didn't seem to be an ongoing one anyway. I'm realistic about the differences in the time frame so this makes it easier to get a true comparison. All the best to you guys and let's hope the wait isn't too long.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

No we haven't but that's pretty common. I wouldn't worry about it yet... I think you get notified with the NOA2 anyway. Having said that I told myself I wouldn't check my Case Status for at least 3 or 4 months but it's already become an almost daily habit even though I know we're way off. :reading:

TSC is terrible. After the transfers, for like 2 weeks they were blasting through March. It looked like they were going to be halfway into April by the middle of September - at first. They are pathetic. It's the middle of September now and they're still poking around with March. Even worse a lot of March filers haven't even received the NOA2 yet. To add insult to injury, the fliers being approved in the April/May category are from CSC and even CSC is dumping cold water on their approval rates. It's pathetic that we pay our government for a service and it takes them months to complete simple tasks that take other countries at most 3 months to complete - by law. I bet it don't take them months to take my taxes though. . .

TSC's lack of approvals right now is driving me nuts as well. I was hoping for an NOA2 at least in November, but now I am getting worried it will be January or even February. I really wish something could be done.

It's pathetic to say that we have just passed two months and it's almost like I am less hopeful each day. This is agonizing. My fiance was here for a month in May - June 2014 and we got engaged then. We filed July 2, and it feels like it's been ages. I stopped looking at the K1 July Filers thread because it makes me feel like a horrible person. I was hopeful a few weeks back when TSC was approving 12-20 petitions a day.. now it seems both service centers have just given up. At some point CSC will be back to one month approvals and TSC will be at 7 or 8 months. Yay!

It's so hard to be happy for others when you are going through something so tough. I don't know - maybe that makes me an awful person. I just couldn't stand seeing another 'I'm approved! Yay!' -.- After a while it just made me bitter and I spent more time complaining to my fiance than anything else. I truly am happy that people are being approved, deep down it's awesome. Everyone has to wait some length of time. I guess it's just frustrating to see people being transferred then almost immediately approved (granted, many of them have hit their 5 months). Then to see the Philippines still being expedited (NOA1: July 1, NOA2: July 28.. what?) I get it, I do.. I just had to rant there for a second.

I just want this over with already. It's been impossible for my fiance and I to plan his actual move because 1. who knows if TSC will get their stuff together and process at five months.. 2. who knows if we will be transferred eventually.. 3. he has to give a 3 month notice period at work.

I fear having him give his notice at NOA2... What if something goes horribly wrong and he is denied at the interview? What if things are delayed at the NVC? Ugh. Too many variables and USCIS doesn't do much to help. Conflicting processing times, no official notice of transfers, hardly any acknowledgement of anything. Our file was last touched July 16 when Luke's ARN was assigned. Since then, nothing. Depressing :(

I have a visit to England planned early November to see him for a week, hopefully that will help. It's way too short of a time to spend with him, but it's what we can work with.

About the Case Status... it is not totally reliable. I have known of many people who have remained in "Initial Review" way after they are married and long gone. It isn't always updated. Being on a thread like this is a good way to assess similar cases with similar time frames, and maybe take a look at the June one to get some idea of how things are moving. Even Igor's list is not always updated. People often don't complete their timeline once they are approved. They get caught up in the excitement of it all and moving on to the next steps and forget about it.

Look forward to the things you have planned... the rest will happen in time and every day is another day closer to your goal.

Yes it is stressful, and you'd think things would be running smoother now, but they really aren't. My friends just got approved and they sent their petition in March, so it seems somethings at TSC are kind of on track but who knows....

Looking forward to getting to spend two months with my Fiance, just before Christmas is when we will part and were hopeful to get our NOA2 when we are together, wishful thinking!!!!

Only thing we can do is take it day by day... :/ sadly...

The original K-1 July filers thread is more and more like a CSC thread lately.. It's downright depressing. Now it's celebration that they are processing late July petitions. Whhatt? That's 2 months - TSC needs to transfer more cases to even out the time frames apparently! Don't get me wrong - I want everyone to get their approval and not wait.. but this discrepancy hasn't changed much.

Another July filer here stuck in all the mountains of petitions at the TSC. It's pathetic how long this process takes for us unlucky enough to be assigned to this place. I found out I was pregnant right after we filed our petition, baby due in March. As each day goes by the fear that my fiance won't be here before the baby is born turns more and more into reality. I hope something turns around soon and they start zipping through and approving them at warp speed, but sadly I'm not holding my breath.
