clarify AP and when it starts - thanks

Is there anyone on this forum that has been in AP out of London USA Embassy for a long time and the London USA Embassy have requested for them to redo the medical and police certificate as the first one's expired,

They want the police certificate and passport to be sent in via courier,

So is this a good sign they will stamp the passport with visa or not?

Anybody who went through that is probably in the US now and we just woke up.

I am aware of people who have been in your position with London. Once they ask for your passport, it means they have cleared you with the security checks and can now issue the visa.

Something to note: one person had gone to a middle eastern country to live while waiting on AP because her USC husband was working there. It showed in her passport when she sent it to London. They said the security checks had to be done all over because they became aware of her new time in the middle eastern country.

i have another query

when does AP actually start, is it the day of the interview when i was given 211g form?

if so does London embassy make full copies of all pages of passport on the day of the interview?

reason why i am asking, is right before the interview date i travelled to another country, so the initial paper work (1-130) does not have new stamps of the country i visited before the interview date
