Dear All,

I hope you ALL are doing well.

Do you have any idea how long will process take to get the VISA through F2A,I've applied for my wife since Oct13(PD).I also have received my case nmbr. from NVC.

In addition,I keep my eyes on the VB every month. They are now on Jan 13.I talked to many specialist in immigration field, they told me the process can take 18 months min to 42 mnths max. However,I heard from some people it can take up to 5 yrs, which is catastrophic if it is true. Please if you have exprienced the same case, let me know how much time did you spend to get your spouse to the US?

I will appreciate your help and your replays .

Thanks and Regards,

You must know tomorrow's winning lottery ticket.

Based on what facts are you stating that his case will "take up to 15 max months to get case complete?"

How can you know something that the US government doesn't know?

OP: The PD's have been pretty steady for years in the F2A category. This because about 75% are exempt from the limits or something like that. Back then it did take some time. My father took like 6 or 7 years when he was petitioned by my mother back in 1994. You are looking at 2 to 3 years until visa issuance.

This does not constitute legal advice.

it all depends on how proactive you are by sending the documents and paying the fees. My case is from May 2013 too and I got case complete at the end of april. some other people here have the same priority date (May 2013) and got the case completed in march. I could have gotten my case completed earlier than april because I got my case # and fees paid in january but didn't send the documents until the beginning of april
