I sent my Ds-260 on July the 4th. howeverm, o far, i haven't receive any mail or feedback regarding the interview schedule. Is that normal? Do i have to worry, just wait or make a move ? what do you suggest?

Thanks in advance.

You are not alone. Many people like you still did not receive their interview letter. We all will probably get it this month.

You can contact KCC to ask them but I suspect you will be told your application is either being processed, or just to wait. It can take 2 months to process the forms (don't forget they have tens of thousands to process), and they only do the interview schedules once a month, around the beginning of the month for two months' time. So October interviews were scheduled around early August, and they probably had not processed your form in time. So you will not get an October interview, but hopefully they have finished processing it and I expect you will find out in a week/ten days that you have a November interview.

I wonder why they put such a high cutt-off number for October...

I think it's precisely because they had not been able to process as many forms as usual (because DS260s only opened 3 weeks later than the previous years). So if they had had a lower cutoff they would have been well under capacity in # of interviews.

But will they still be any interviews directed to take place in October???

Yes there are interviews taking place in October. For those within the cutoff who got their forms in early enough to be processed.

SusieQQQ, by interviews taking place in October, are you exclusively referring to those who have already been notified in August or does that include people who will be notified in September?

Things may be different this year but I've never heard of people being notified that soon before an interview. People are usually notified within a week or two of the visa bulletin (with their numbers published as current ) if there is an interview scheduled for them, or they wait till the following month. I got nearly two months notice for my interview.

I'm still waiting with you. I send my DS260 at the end of the May. I've wrote to KCC and they said me:

Your case number is now current for interview processing. Once the
interview date has been scheduled, you will receive notification via email to
check http://www.dvlottery.state.gov.

What do you think? Is ther any possibility to have interview in October or should I wait to November?

Have you checked the website to see if your notification letter has been updated?

I check it every day and still the same site:

Dear xxx,

You have been randoml selected... bla bla bla

Ok i was just wondering if your email alert got lost... There's no need to check it every day. They only do the interview schedule once a month. I'd guess around 10 days from now is the earliest you'll see anything. It does seem to take them a few days to load all the notifications, but they don't do it all month long. Edited by SusieQQQ

Hi all

I'm a wife of a dv 2015 selectee AF 55** .. we submitted the application by the middle of July. When should we expect to be interviewd?

I'm little concerned about not getting the confirmation letter till now !!! As in our initial application my name was containing only three names but I adjusted it in DS-260 to add my forth (last name)to be exactly like passport.

When should I feel it's a problem and that we won't get the confirmation letter?

NB: we are from Egypt - I'm not the main applicant
