Hi all!

So me, living and from in England and my Fiance living and from US are applying for a K1 Visa.

When researching all the documents that are needed I found that it was her that needs to meet the Poverty Guidelines. Well she is at University for the next 3 years meaning she has no income apart from $12,00 loans.

I reach the Poverty Guidlines for us both and could support us but how do I go about this when applying for the K1 Visa?

Thanks for the help!

How would you support her, presumably your job would end when you move to the USA? Even if your company is international and would continue to employ you in the USA, you cannot work for several months once you arrive.

Your best bet is likely a US based co-sponsor.

Thanks for the reply,

Yes your completely right, I was rather confused by the simplest of things!

A Co-Sponser is the route we will be taking. Her mum who I have known since meeting my Fiance earns $80,00 a year which should be fine.

But I a truly nervous what they can deny the Co-sponser for?

Any ideas?

Thanks for the help
