August 2014 filers

I know there is a similar thread out here for Aug 2014, but since it is only for TCS, I decided to create another one for all service centers.

With that said, I am an Aug filer and wondering if any of fellow Aug filers have received NOA2 at this point?

I am still waiting for my NOA2. Getting a little restless.

Why would you feel restless? You just filled not too long ago, give it time and your approval will come.

You are right. It's way too soon.

It's just that I have noticed some early Jul filers have their NOA2s within 17-19 days after their NOA1.

They are possibly CSC filers.. (processed through California Service Center) or Philippines applicant which are very often expedited or others that may have had a special case which was expedited..... or just very lucky.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

Yup, I am a CSC filer myself and still waiting...

I just can't understand why USCIS would favor more towards citizens of one country over others. Afterall, we all pay the same amount to them. Just don't see any justice in it.

Sent my in this month. Hope all goes well. There are so much helpful information to stat the process.

Welcome to the thread! Keep us up to date with your journey. Good luck!

Good luck everyone. My next trip is for Christmas and New Years. It would be nice if all of our applications are completed. A perfect gift is to bring our brides for the New Year. Good luck everyone.

Has any August or late July filers received NOA2 yet?

Yes July and some early August. Philippines were expedited owing to humanitarian reasons as happens following earthquakes, typhoons etc. Military deployment is another reason. Other than that its pretty much the luck of the draw so long as it is within the guidelines. You can get some idea by following these links ... and try and keep busy so you're not thinking about it constantly ... not the easiest thing to do that's for sure. Hope the wait isn't too long. You're at CSC.. it's usually quicker than Texas.

Yes, you can check on the Processing Times link at the top to see how many were approved. As of a few days ago, at least four petitions were approved from the TSC. One of them was within ten days, which just irks the snot out of me. The rest of us will sit on a shelf for an undetermined period of time.

Hi all,

I am so confused. I just got a I-797C that they are transferring my case to Texas Service Center to process my application. It is to better serve me in a timely manner according to the notice. I always thought CSC was faster or are they handling influx of other applications.

That seems odd. Why would they transfer a bunch of cases from TSC to CSC, only to turn around and transfer yours to TSC?
