Hi All,

I received my GC around 2 years back and we are still living in Pakistan due to business reasons. when I had processed my wife's F2A application,we have no baby and applied for wife only. Now I have a daughter. We want that she may live in Pakistan minimum for 5 years to learn Urdu Language like Pakistani Kids. As we have observed that the babies grownup here cant speak Urdu and don't want to live back in Pakistan. :goofy:

My question is should I apply again for my daughter separately or her case will automatically get adjusted with her mother (hopefully she will get a visa in next few months)? Or

By considering the current trend i believe that any f2a case can be successfully completed in 2.5 years, As we want, can we apply her immigration petition for our daughter at the age of 3 years so that before the age of 6 or 7 Years she may get a immigration visa.

Kindly review and Guide. Thank you for your time and consideration.

I see a bigger issue.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

If you haven't been living in the USC and maintaining residence or filing US income taxes you have effectively given up your green card When were you last living in the US ?

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

You aren't living in the USA? You aren't fulfilling the requirements of your green card.

Thanks for your reply,

Yes true, I am not permanently living but I am frequently visiting US to meet my family.

So can i apply F2A for my wife and kids individually?

A green card is not a permanent visa, you don't use it to "visit" the US.

You are supposed to be in the US more than out, file taxes every year, register for selective service if you are younger. Have you ?

As I am not doing any Job in US, So I have not filed tax returns, if its is mandatory, then I can file a tax return and giving them Tax Certificate from The Govt. of Pakistan and also furnish them documents according to US law.

Please advise, Thanks

GC means you live in the US and visit elsewhere.

You said you live in Pakistan and have visited the US.

Irrelevant where you work, you need to file US tax return on your worldwide income.

I am agreed, I will furnish a tax return as soon as possible. no matte where I am earning but I will declare my total income and tax paid in Pakistan as well.

But my main Question was

Can I apply for F2A Immigration for Wife and Kids (Individually)?
