Hello, I need some help. When I try to make my time line it won't let me cause the date I sent my docs and the NOA1 date is to long of a period. What do that mean? I sent my docs to immigration in Dec and got approved in May, so why are they saying that is to long?

Are you putting the date in correct. MM/DD/YY?

NOA1 is when you got the notification that the USCIS accepted your petition

NOA2 is when you got the notification that it was approved (or denied)

Make sure you're inserting the right dates. You would not be putting a May date for NOA1 when you sent the petition in Dec.

I am looking at the letter that the USCIS sent me and it has 2 dates, the receipt date they got my docs in which is Dec 19, 2013 and then the date the approved it in May 2014.

Everyone does email correspondence with the NVC if you give them your email addresses when you get your case numbers.

Use the accepted date as your NOA1 date and the approval date as your NOA2 date if your online case status does not give you a specific NOA1 date.

I-130 NOA1 : 2014-05-19 I-130 RFE : I-130 RFE Sent : I-130 Approved : 2014-05-19 NVC Received : 2013-05-19 Received DS-261 / AOS Bill : 2014-08-04 Pay AOS Bill : 2014-07-08 Receive I-864 Package : Send AOS Package : 2014-07-23
  1. You have your NOA1 and your I-130 approved (NOA2) same date. Needs fixing
  2. You have the date your petition was received at NVC 2013 but your application wasn't sent until 2014? HUH?
  3. Received DS-261/AOS Bill you have the date after you paid and sent in package. That's impossible. You get bill first than pay then send in package.

Once you fix these you will see the data fix it self . And this will help others when they want to gauge how long it takes to get things processed.
